ASP.NET MVC Framework

ASP.NET MVC Framework is the Microsoft’s entirely new concept for development of Web applications with the Model-View-Controller” paradigm and based on the ASP.NET. Some important advantages of the ASP.NET MVS are the concept of separating the business logic and the business model from the user interface and the presentation logic, the search engine friendly URL addresses and the build-in unit testing facilitation.

ASP.NET 3.5 New Features

This session will focus on the exiting recently introduced features and technologies in ASP.NET 3.5. Starting from ASP.NET and LINQ and LINQ-to-SQL integration and ASP.NET dynamic data, the speaker will go through the ASP.NET AJAX and the AJAX Control Toolkit and finally will present the new ASP.NET controls for Silverlight. You will see just few slides and all the rest will be a rich set of live demonstrations.

Silverlight 2.0

Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device plug-in for delivering the next generation of media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web. In the latest version Silverlight hosts light version of CLR and runs .NET managed code. This lecture will introduce Microsoft Silverlight technology and will focus on the new features in the 2.0 version.

Windows 2008 and IIS 7 for Developers

IIS7 is the foundation of Microsoft's Web platform, and offers many exciting new advancements in Web serving technology. This session will present the advantages of using Windows Server 2008 with IIS7: better security, FastCGI for improved PHP performance, improved error reporting for developers, FTP over SSL for encrypted file transfers, IIS7 modular architecture, remote administration of IIS7 for Web site administrators, etc. The audience will also learn about the end-to-end extensibility model in IIS7, which was used by the IIS product team to build all of the features in IIS7.

SQL Server 2008 for Developers

SQL Server 2008 introduces a significant amount of new or improved functionality, including new and enhanced data types, performance and security enhancements. In this talk we will discuss how you can easily take advantage of the new functionality available in SQL Server 2008 within your application development.

Workflow + Services: WWF & WCF

This session will focus on the build-in infrastructure in .NET Framework 3.5 for development and running of distributed applications with workflows base on Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
